Words matter.
I am an experienced copywriter, proofreader and translator.
Copywriting
I’ve worked with clients including EIT Climate-KIC, leading Dutch architectural studios Bentham Crouwel and Marc Koehler Architects, Japanese conglomerate Marubeni, the Amsterdam city government, and product and design studio AQ. Together with my colleagues at STBY, I also wrote the design briefs for What Design Can Do‘s Climate Action Challenge and the Clean Energy Challenge.
Across more than one language, I’ve worked with clients including cutting-edge cultural centre Shibaura House, created the English edition of MOMENT magazine with think/do tank Re:public, handled translation and copywriting for MONO JAPAN, and proofread several books translated from Japanese.
Translation
I translate from Japanese > English and Dutch > English.
I have experience as an interpreter for presentations, interviews, and meetings from Japanese > English. I can also transcribe Japanese audio directly into English. This is particularly useful (and time-saving!) for projects conducted in Japan for non-Japanese clients.
